Privacy policy
Effective
Your photos stay on your iPhone.
Booth 77 has no account, no ads and no tracking, and it never uploads your photos or strips. The only thing it sends anywhere is an anonymous record of a Booth Pass purchase, explained below.
App Store privacy label: Data Not Linked to You: Purchases
The camera
Booth 77 uses the camera only to take your photos. It all happens on your iPhone, and the app never uploads your photos.
Your strips
Your strips are stored on your iPhone, inside Booth 77. If you back up your iPhone, the backup includes them, as it does for any app.
When Save to Photos is on, Booth 77 adds each new strip to your Photos library. It asks only for permission to add photos, so it never reads your library or sees what’s in it.
The Booth Pass
The Booth Pass is a one-time purchase that Apple handles through the App Store (StoreKit). Booth 77 never sees your payment details: Apple only lets the app know that the Pass is yours.
To confirm purchases and keep track of sales, Booth 77 sends a record of each Booth Pass purchase or restore to RevenueCat, the service we use for in-app purchases. The record holds the product, its price and currency, the store country, the date, an anonymous ID created for the app, and technical details such as the app and iOS versions. It holds no name, email, photo or advertising ID. RevenueCat processes it on our behalf under its own privacy policy and protects it at least as well as this policy does.
Free strips
Booth 77 counts the free strips you’ve used with a small counter in your iPhone’s Keychain. The counter stays on your iPhone, isn’t synced with iCloud and is never sent to us. iOS keeps it if you delete the app, so the free strips don’t start over.
Sharing
Your strips never leave Booth 77 unless you choose to share them. When you tap Share or Story, the iOS share sheet opens and you pick where your strip goes. The app or person you send it to then handles it under their own privacy policy.
Your choices
- Turn camera or Photos access on or off at any time in the Settings app, under Apps › Booth 77.
- Turn off Save to Photos in Booth 77’s Settings.
- Delete a strip in Your strips. A copy already in Photos stays there.
- Delete the app to delete every strip kept in it.
Apart from those purchase records, we hold no data about you. To have them deleted, email us your App Store order ID, which is in your Apple Account’s purchase history. We keep purchase records only as long as we need them to provide the Booth Pass and for our accounts.
Children
Booth 77 collects no personal data from anyone, children included: a purchase record is anonymous.

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
